Ethereum Classic upgrade, code named MYSTIQUE, will occur on block 14,525,000. The estimated date for MYSTIQUE is February 13th of 2022.

Ethereum Classic core developers have posted ECIP-1104, which provides information for ETC’s MYSTIQUE hard fork:

This document proposes the following blocks at which to implement these changes in the Classic networks:

• 5_520_000 on Mordor Classic PoW-testnet (Jan 13th 2022)
• 5_578_000 on Kotti Classic PoA-testnet (Jan 23th 2022)
• 14_525_000 on Ethereum Classic PoW-mainnet (Feb 13th 2022)

Clients supporting Mystique hard-fork

The following client releases contain Mystique support. All node operators are encouraged to upgrade as soon as possible.

– Core-geth v1.12.4 or later.

– Hyperledger Besu v21.10.8 or later.

Communications

If you are using a managed API service or third-party service provider, then please ensure they are ready for Mystique.

The more people who ask, the more likely a provider is to make a public statement confirming their readiness.

If you are a miner, mining pool, node operator, wallet operator or other kind of ETC stakeholder, please upgrade your node/s to minimize the risk of network splits.
